Canonical Bridges Amazon’s EC2 and AWS

Canonical Bridges Amazon’s EC2 and AWS - Ubuntu Cloud Concept
Canonical has just released a new cloud proxy that should bridge two similar services, Amazon’s EC2 and AWS.

Ubuntu Cloud Concept

The proxy is called AWSOME, not just because it's great, but because it stands for “Any Web Service Over Me,” simplifying the deployment of hybrid cloud workloads across AWS and OpenStack clouds.

"OpenStack is the leading open source cloud infrastructure, and Canonical is delighted to contribute a tool that accelerates the evaluation, testing and deployment of OpenStack amongst organisations that already use AWS." said Dave Walker, Ubuntu Server Infrastructure Lead at Canonical.

According to Canonical, “OpenStack is the leading open source cloud infrastructure, and Canonical is delighted to contribute a tool that accelerates the evaluation, testing and deployment of OpenStack amongst organisations that already use AWS.”
