Apple’s entire range of first-party applications received updates on the day the company unveiled the new iPad with Retina display. That included the relatively new iTunes U application, which Tim Cook & Co. proudly introduced at the company’s education-centric event in New York City last month.
iTunes U offers easy access to complete courses from schools and universities, as well as the world’s largest digital catalog of free education content, right on your iDevice.
The new iTunes U 1.1 is now “designed for the spectacular Retina display on the all new iPad,” says Apple. The company adds that “this version also includes a number of performance improvements.”

I love iTunes U! Would be awesome to archive courses so they don't show on the bookshelf but can be accessed later.

Aside from a few minor issues, this has been an extremely helpful tool for me. As a high school student enrolled in ap biology, the information provided in this app has helped me prepare for my tests and will be valuable to me in preparing for the ap exam at the end of the year. I wish it had been released in time for my midterm exam.
